Toby Amies does his best to tell the truth. He takes pictures and tells stories. He's worked with Radio 4, BBC World Service, BBC Two, BBC 4, MTV, Lonely Planet and Rough Guides. His photos have been published in The Guardian, Dazed and Confused, The Telegraph, Saga Magazine, The Miami Herald and ID.
He was the winner of The Dali Award at the 1999 International Surrealist Film Festival and has been coasting on that tiny victory for 11 years now.
He's just finished two documentaries for Radio 4, and is in production on a documentary film: The Man Whose Mind Exploded.
